| These animals were hand carved by Bill Dentzel in l999. He is the 5th Generation Owner of the Dentzel Carousel Company. They are made of Basswood, using traditional hollow box construction. Donna Wolcott (above), a professional Carousel painter and restorer from Northford, CT, designed and painted them when they first arrived in 1999! P.S.
