We received this very nice letter from a 4th Grade student in Old Saybrook.
Thank you Lauren!

Millie Greimann of Old Saybrook, CT Wrote the Following Poem for a School Assignment
Thanks for sharing it with us!

Listen my children, I tell you a tale

Of the best tasting fish got to by rudder and sail

You will find it in Westbrook, CT, do you know

Of this gem of an eatery, Lenny & Joe?

Do you know, have you tasted their signature dish,

On a bun, moist and tender, a sandwich called fish?

So, it's slap on the tartar, and up for a bite,

Then prepare for a real gastronomic felight,

You don't have to be dainty but stay in control

Which is tricky, big fish on a miniscule roll.

Don't try to keep track of how many you eat

Through the years, that's a daunting comestible feat.

Just be happy, be joyous, and thankful to know

That forever, please God, we'll have Lenny & Joe.

When Patrick Wilson returned to Disney World in April 2005, he proudly wore his new 2005 Fish Tale T-Shirt as he met many of the Disney characters. He is seen here with his friend Dopey!   Two yr old Alex really enjoyed his fried scallops! He came in to visit with Grandpa Chuck, who is one of the Fish Tale Bartenders! Alex's Mom & Dad met at the Fish Tale when they both worked here during High School and College Summers. We're proud of the many beautiful children that have come from couples who have met while at Lenny & Joe's!    Nathan visited our Westbrook Restaurant and Proudly Wore the Fisherman's Hat that he bought earlier in the summer!
